Stripy T-Shirts & The Colours For Autumn

You know how you can never have too many stripy t-shirts? (It’s not like I haven’t talked about it here on the blog before.) Well, I’m here tonight to tell you that the same goes for the autumn season.

It’s finally September which means autumn is a-comin’ (can you tell it’s my favourite time of the year?). When September and October roll around, there are always certain colours which crop up in our wardrobes. Wine red – a given. Mustard yellow – a definite. Not forgetting allll the neutrals because what would autumn be without a cream knit? So, you can’t blame me for snatching up this t-shirt in a brown-come-mustard shade. Especially since it’s a classic stripy tee, and like I mentioned before, you can never have too many of those. Never forget that…and don’t listen to your mum when she tells you you’ve already got 3 that look the same.

Another colour which I’m calling back into action as we transition into the next season is khaki. This gorgeous green hue had a huge moment way back last year and then seemed to die off a bit this spring/summer. I don’t know about you but I’ve kinda missed it, and I think it’s about time we invited it back into our wardrobes. That’s where this faux suede varsity-style jacket comes in. Aside from a bomber or a denim jacket, this has to be a winning jacket style for me. I’d say, very much similar to a bomber and just as cool. And ya know, while the hot sun’s still beating down on us, you can just drape it over your shoulders and go for that whole cool girl look – in both senses of the word.
