Orange Is The New EVERYTHING

I once had a cropped orange jumper and it was perfect for this time of year. The colour screamed summer and the short length meant it sat at just the right position on the waistband of your jeans. Then I grew out of it and the orange jumper has been long gone for a while now. Cue the new version of that very jumper, this time in the form of a sweatshirt from Romwe. They say orange is the new black but I’d go as far as to say that orange is the new everything this season.

I styled this neon orange beauty with a lot of grey and black because I wanted the sweatshirt to be the stand out piece. When you’re wearing a hue that bright you don’t really need much else apart from a few basics. The first, a denim skirt. If you’re looking for something a bit different to your standard denim mini then why not try a distressed washed black or grey instead? Every gal should have a denim skirt in their wardrobe but it doesn’t have to be boring. Since everything else in this look is plain, I thought it would be fun to throw in a leopard print ankle boot to break things up a bit. Next got it so right with these neutral-toned boots so there are no Bet Lynch vibes here.
