Gingham Print Top & 2 Other Trends Bloggers Are Loving

A while back I did a post showing you all the wardrobe essentials needed if you wanted to get that ultimate blogger look. At the time, I think it was pretty much lace-up flats, a mini crossbody bag, and a sweatshirt with some funny slogan about ‘bloggers doing it better’. Well guess what people, times have changed (they’re now a lot more gingham filled) but don’t worry ’cause I got you covered. Think of this post as your updated guide to dressing like allllll your favourite bloggy gals in just 3 inexpensive steps.

1. Gingham

So gingham is basically the print of the season, and if you’re anyone in fashion you’re going to be wearing it in some form or other. You can wear it in any way you want really – did you see my post wearing the Missguided ruffle gingham skirt? – but today I went for this gorge SheIn top because I’m loving the open back with ribbon ties! How cute? If you do one thing tonight you should pick something in monochrome gingham print and buy it. If it’s got frills, bows, or ruffles then that’s just a bonus. And if you’re on a budget then hit up SheIn because they have more gingham than you could ever imagine and this one was less than £15!!!

2. Embroidered Loafers

Or pretty much just any kind of slip on, backless loafers with a gold horse bit detail really. If it looks like Gucci then it’s a winner in the blogging world, and lucky for us Ego have made the best dupes so we don’t have to fork out a few hundred quid just to get in on the action. I’m talking furry ones, black ones, white ones with snakes on, and these nude embroidered beauties, all for a nice comfortable £25. Ah, doesn’t that feel good!?

3. A Basket Bag

So apparently basket bags are in, and who knew? To be honest, it isn’t one that I thought I’d be getting involved with until yesterday because it just doesn’t really tickle my fancy. There’s something about this little cutie though, weather it’s the fact that it’s half faux leather, half basket, or whether it’s because it’s a mini bucket bag, or even because of the gold chain on the strap, but whatever it is I’m in, and you should be too. Once again, this is a super cheap trend to jump on – this one only cost me £20 from Zara and don’t you think it looks way more expensive?
