Your Winter Uniform Sorted | Casual vs. Formal

What’s the worst time of year for a fashion blogger? It has to be winter, when you have to either wrap up in 17 layers and look like a crazy lady or go out in not nearly enough clothing and still look like a crazy lady. #bloggerprobs

Bare legs and a lightweight knit in this weather? No thank you very much. So, when it’s too cold to go outside and shoot photos for the blog, what do we do? We make wish lists, of course!

Since I’m lacking the desire to step out and shoot my own photographs most days of the week because of the cold, I thought I’d put together a couple of mood boards to show you in a different way what you should be wearing this season, whether you’re a casual dresser or love to dress it up.

The Casual Look

So this one is definitely for me – did you see yesterday’s post all about my off-duty style? – because it involves a pair of jeans and a slouchy knit. Two of my fave things when it comes to fashion no matter what time of year it is. That’s right, you can switch this look up for spring and summer too – just swap the boots for sandals, add some shades and you’re good to go. I like this look so much that while I was making the board, a few of these pieces might have accidentally possibly made it into my shopping bag at SheIn

…surely you can’t blame me when you can take at least $3 off your order though. It might be a small discount but like they say, every little helps. (Just click the link in my sidebar and it’ll take you straight to their website. You are welcome.)

Work That Formal Look

Maybe you like to look a little more put-together when it comes to your personal style? Don’t worry, I’ve got your back and so has SheIn. Their blazers are uh-mazing so get your In The Frow on and get your hands on one of these now. I’m telling you it’s a staple that you can wear every year, every season.

Let’s not forget these gorgeous boots, which fit perfectly into both my cas and formal looks in two different colour-ways. What’s not to love about a versatile shoe?

So, what have we learned from today’s blog post? That when it’s too cold to go outside, SheIn always has ya back with its fast fashion and beautiful prices, maybe? They’ve certainly got me convinced. What about you? xx Sophie
