How To Wear Fishnets Under Ripped Jeans

Before we get into the details of this post, let’s just take a look at the new notcentralfashion!!! The blog has been completely revamped over the past two days, and after a few sticky situations, we are live. Feel free to have a look around and let me know your thoughts! Is there anything else you want to see? A page for you to shop my wardrobe? A popular posts section? I’m taking on board all suggestions. I’m still tweaking a few bits here and there too so bare with me over the next few days, but I hope you like the new look!

Now let’s get into the real reason why you’re here…to see how I’m styling the fishnet tights under ripped jeans look that Pinterest is going crazy for atm. I don’t know about you, but my style changes pretty much every day. For the most part it’s quite casual and sportswear focused, but some days I wake up feeling smart, chic, girly, and for this look in particular, grungy.

To get the look, all you need is 3 things: a pair of fishnets, a pair of extreme ripped jeans, and a cropped top. This look is perfect if you live in a warmer climate or it’s summer where you are right now because you don’t have to think about covering up to keep warm. Notice that I had to shoot these pictures indoors? Yep, there was no way I was stepping foot outside dressed like this! I might make some sacrifices for the sake of having a fashion blog, but this was not one of them!

I knew that to create this look my ripped jeans needed to be extreme – think less white string and more wide open hole. You can find these types of ripped jeans anywhere online (I’ve linked a few below) but I decided to go DIY and make my own pair to get them exactly how I wanted them. Primark provided the plain ol’ denim for about £13, and half an hour later I had them looking like this! Leave a comment if you want to see a post about how I made my own ripped jeans.
