Last year I shot this dress in a field of yellow flowers and here I am a year later, this time in a field of corn! Denim dresses and skirts are very in this season (I’m on the hunt for an a-line mini) but I feel like this dress will be wearable year after year anyway. The look I created with the dress this year isn’t that different from 2014, but it’s the sort of piece that doesn’t need much else going on around it. Plus, who says you can’t recycle a beautiful dress? The one thing I was annoyed about, however, was that I forgot my sunglasses and it was really rather bright. You’ll have to excuse the squinty eyes- I wasn’t meaning to look grumpy!

I’m looking forward to a couple of days off work now, and I’m thinking I’ll have to get some blog photos done. Mum and I just shot a look with my new dungarees from Topshop (:D) and I’m aiming to edit those photos tonight so the post will be ready soon. Apart from that I’ve got an August playlist on the go on Spotify so will share that with you once it’s done too. Lots of fun stuff. See you soon xx

  1. A dress with pockets is always a yes! Really lovely look 🙂
As for the denim a-line, I’ve currently got a blue one from Asos (was on sale for £19) and a black one from Monki (£25) – I prefer the Monki one! Lots of good vintage finds on eBay and depop at the moment too xx
