I’m continuing on with the utility trend for another blog post this morning. I was inspired by H&M’s latest magazine, where they wrote that a classic wardrobe staple- in my case a little black dress- should be modernised with details and accessories which have a utility vibe. I instantly thought that this tan jacket would update the classic black dress- it has the perfect details with oversized pockets and large buttons. It’s actually from Jack Wills, the same place I got the shirt I wore in my last post about how to rock utility fashion. Neither of the two pieces are from this season’s stock but coincidentally, they both fit perfectly with this look. I love this outfit for something very simple but a bit more dressy, and it meant I got to wear my Topshop heels again!
Apologies for the lack of post yesterday, but since I’m waiting in for a delivery this morning, I thought I may as well write a quick post for you. Let me know in the comments if you’re loving this trend…I think two blog posts about it in a row must mean I am!
