It’s been so long since I did some proper nail art. I got kind of bored of coming up with elaborate designs only to find that they never  turned out how I wanted them to, and having to start all over again. It would usually take at least 2 attempts to get it perfect! I had a bit of a break from nail art for a while, though and just stuck to basic nail painting instead, but now it’s back – even if it is only simple to start off with.

A lot of my nail varnishes are running out or have gone sticky, especially in the colours I really need when I’m doing nail art. I wanted to do black and white stripes for this one, but all of my white polishes are no good, so I had to improvise, and came up with this instead. What surprised me the most was that I even managed to get the stripes (almost) straight on my right hand, even though I do not have a steady left hand! Looks like I just needed a break from nail-arting every few days.
