I’m always trying to find ways to make my outfits more interesting and, I suppose you could say, “out-there”. My latest fave is to add a cute pair of socks – whether they’re baby-pink lacy, bright neon coloured, or, in this case, athletics style socks.
I also really believe that the shoes you are wearing can instantly transform your outfit into something completely different. For example, with this outfit, I could have so easily gone with my well-worn, white low-top converse, but that’s too safe. Instead, by wearing a pair of wedge heels and adding some socks, the clothes I’m wearing suddenly make a sort of edgy look – exactly what I wanted.
Why make-do with your converse just because they’re familiar when you can stand out (and up) with a pair of heels?
